The fish barrier will be constructed in two phases. In the first phase the creek is
diverted to the west side of the canyon to allow the eastern half of the structure
to be formed, poured and cured. Although this phase will allow for the
construction of the biggest portion of the barrier it is the easier of the two
required creek diversions. In this phase, water need only be pushed to the side.
In the upcoming phase two, the water will be diverted to the side, up and over the
finished first half of the barrier. The pictures below are excavating and creek
diversion for phase I.
